Easy Organic BBQ Veg Delights
Ignite your creativity (and your BBQ) with these totally delicious and easy prep vegetarian BBQ delights, using tasty organic infusions that guests will come back for time after time.
Grilled Mushrooms
Mushrooms made a tasty side dish or can be added to fried rice or pasta. For this recipe use small mushrooms. Slice thinly and place in a bowl with Organic Olive Oil and Organic Balsamic Vinegar. Marinate for 15 minutes then BBQ for 2-3 minutes.
Zesty Veggie Skewers
Impress your guests with vibrant coloured and flavourful veggie skewers. Slice vegetables such as red onion, capsicum, zucchini, tomato and mushrooms into nice thick chunks. Thread onto skewers, brush with Olive Oil and a generous amount of Organic Traditional Pesto. Place on BBQ and turn regularly. Once cooked, serve on a platter and add an extra dollop of pesto before serving.
Grilled Corn on the Cob
No BBQ is complete without grilled corn on the cob and this simple sweet and salty corn combo will become a family favourite. Remove ears from corn. Lightly coat corn in oil then grill for 15-20 minutes or until all sides are charred. Place on plate and drizzle with Organic Maple Syrup and sprinkle Celtic Sea Salt on top. Serve.
Grilled Cauliflower
This unsung hero vegetable not only tastes delicious, but it also has many beneficial nutrients. Cut a whole cauliflower into thick slices or steaks. Coat with olive oil and Organic Tomato Pesto and BBQ until golden brown. Remove from heat and place on a serving platter. Add slices of Organic Roasted Capsicum for a colour and flavour bust and top with Organic Bean Sprouts.
Grilled Eggplant
Elevate your BBQ game with Mediterranean-inspired eggplant. Halve the eggplants, score with a knife, and stuff them with a mixture of Organic Sweet Salsa, olive oil, oregano, salt, pepper, and cheese. Grill until the eggplant flesh is tender and the flavours are beautifully melded together. Garnish with freshly picked herbs and serve.
